Port of Seattle Fire Department Diversity Association recently attended the King County Fire Chiefs' Diversity Workshop at Renton Technical College. Seen in the photo are Captain Smith, Captain Crippen and Firefighter Wilson. This was just one of the recruitment efforts our team makes to assure there is a truly inclusive pool of applicants for available firefighter positions.

In January of 2023 five new firefighters will be starting fire academy and two firefighters will be making lateral transfers to our department.
